We hold 10 bootcamp training sessions from Monday through to Saturday.
We recommend our members attend 3 sessions a week for best results.
New members should arrive 10 minutes before their first session to meet their trainer and get bootcamp ready.
Maps to all our bootcamp locations are available here
How much does it cost?
Your taster session is completely FREE OF CHARGE.
If you choose to sign up after your taster, you will ALSO enjoy the rest of your first week FREE OF CHARGE!
You’ll then move onto our new members’ rate of £99 / 4 week camp.
Your membership investment includes:
Access to unlimited bootcamps (we recommend 3 x a week for best results)
Personalised goal setting and 121 induction with one of our qualified trainers
Access to our full set of health, nutrition and lifestyle guides
If you join mid-way through a camp, remaining weeks in your first camp will simply be pro-rata’d at £25/week.
After you have been with us for 3 months you will move onto our SPIRIT Loyalty Rate of £87.50 / camp.
Based on attending 3 camps a week that’s less than £7.50 per workout!
We’re always working hard to provide excellent value. On top of your bootcamp workouts there’s a wealth of added benefits including: the opportunity to join regular extra activities (currently yoga and netball); membership of our SPIRIT Squad Online Support Group; access to a wealth of resources in the Members’ Only section of the website and ongoing individual support to help you achieve your body goals.
What equipment do I need?
For your free taster session, none! Just come in clothes you can workout in (a sports bra, t-shirt and leggings are fine) and a supportive pair of sports trainers. We will lend you any equipment needed for your taster bootcamp, whether that’s kettlebells, bands or other fun stuff to help you get the most out of your workout.
Once you sign up for full membership we recommend that you invest in a mat and a set of dumbbells.
What does a typical bootcamp session look like?
SPIRIT bootcamps combine strength and cardio exercises for a full body burn. Our sessions get your heart pumping, make you sweat and challenge your muscles. Whether it be through bodyweight exercises, dumbbells, kettlebells, circuits, HIIT or boxing our bootcamps are guaranteed to build your strength and endurance – burning fat and boosting your metabolism. If you’re in search of a high energy workout that offers variety, camaraderie and fun, SPIRIT is just what you’re looking for!
What if I have an injury?
It’s important to let your instructor know if you have any health issues or injuries. Our skilled personal trainers are attentive to proper form and technique and will adapt the exercises to best suit your needs.
Will I lose weight?
The short answer is…. yes!
If you’re committed to attending bootcamp and following our nutrition and lifestyle recommendations, then you absolutely will. Past clients have lost up to 52 lbs on our programme and inches from their targeted body areas.
We’re about helping all women, whether they have ½ a stone or 8 stone to lose, to feel good about themselves and start making positive steps with life changing results.
But SPIRIT is so much more than a workout or a diet plan - and it’s not just about what you lose, it’s about what you GAIN…we’re talking strength, fitness and confidence.
We’re confident that if you put in the work, you’ll get results - and we’ll be there supporting you every step of the way.
I’m totally unfit…is this really for me?
It’s recommended that you consult your GP before starting any new regime.
But from our perspective, we’re open to all women. Trust us, we’ve seen ladies start our bootcamp programme at all levels of strength and fitness – it’s not a problem. Whether you’re already regularly exercising or you get a sweat-up walking to the corner shop, our trainers are here to help you find your own personal stretch level. It’s about training to your own limits
How often do you run the taster sessions?
Free taster sessions are available every Monday, at 6.30am, 9.15am or 6.30pm. Spaces are limited as we restrict numbers of triallists each week to ensure we can offer each new member personal attention without compromising the bootcamp experience for our valued existing members.
What happens after my free taster session?
Your trainer will check in at the end of the session to see how it was for you. They’ll walk you through the sign-up process and how the SPIRIT team can support you to meet your body goals.
If you sign up, the rest of week one is TOTALLY FREE before you move onto our new members’ rate.
Of course, we hope you love bootcamp as much as we do, but if it’s not for you, there’s no obligation and no hard feelings!
What’s the Body Goals Assessment?
Once you sign up for a full four week camp, we conduct a personal Body Goals Assessment with you within the first 2 weeks.
This entails a questionnaire exploring your ambitions, goals and any limitations; a short (not scary!) fitness and strength test to set your baseline level (so you can track your progress over time) and optional weight and measurements – again to set a baseline.
You’ll then have a 121 session with one of our trainers to go through your Body Goals Assessment, receive your SPIRIT Body Goals pack and discuss tailored recommendations for you.
What support will I get from SPIRIT as a full member?
Access to 10 bootcamp workout options across the week
Nutrition and recipe resources
Access to the Spirit Squad Facebook support group
Personal Body Goals Assessment
Advice and expertise of our PT qualified training team
Access to our SPIRIT social and extracurricular events programme
Fun, confidence and on-going support to meet YOUR personal body goals
I’m confused…what happened to Babes on the Run?
SPIRIT is the new name for Babes on the Run. Every business needs a refresh from time to time and when Janella took over the business in 2019 she took the opportunity to review what could be fine-tuned to make our bootcamp experience even better… That included a new name, and new look which truly reflected the attitude and personality of the business.
With SPIRIT, we’ve kept the essence of the bootcamp workouts and support structure that our members love - and wrapped it up in a hot new look and attitude. We’ve refined the tools and support we offer to deliver an even more rewarding experience for every member.
Why is it women only?
Our experience is that many women simply feel more comfortable working out solely in the presence of other women. By limiting our bootcamps to women only, we aim to encourage more women to work out on a consistent basis. That means better results for our members in meeting their body goals. Not only that, but when it comes to nutrition and lifestyle advice there are differences between men and women which mean recommendations need to be tailored by gender. We’re confident there are plenty of alternatives out there for men who want to workout - and we wish them nothing but love and success in meeting their body goals.
