Happy Easter! I hope you all have a lovely weekend relaxing with friends and family. But will your body need a boost next week after a spot of indulgence here and there? Here’s my Easter recovery recipes to help out…
I know Easter time is a maze made of chocolate temptation, but try to be good ladies – every time you feel those fingers wandering towards chocolate just think about summer and swimming costumes!
In preparation for a little bit of indulgence, I’ve prepared a couple of new, clean, healthy fish recipes for you, to help you get back on track next week. Tuna Nicoise Salad is a great one to take into work for lunch and the stew makes for a hearty dinner.
Getting fish into your diet at least a couple of times a week is important because it’s high in healthy Omega 3 fatty acids, which many believe lower your risk of heart disease, stroke, depression, dementia, and arthritis.
These fatty acids are found in every cell of our body but we can’t produce them, so it is essential we are eating foods high in Omega 3 oils regularly. These good fats have the added benefit of keeping you feeling full to stop you snacking! So fill your boots ladies!
