Did you watch Mind Over Marathon? Wow what an inspirational group and so brave to share their stories and journeys.

Mental health problems are more common than ever, yet still so taboo!

One of the best prescriptions is exercise, as these amazing people demonstrated, breaking through barriers to achieve one hell of a feat!

One of the women even said that when running she felt like she was running to a new life.

When we exercise we release endorphins, the body’s feel good chemicals that lift the spirits and increase feelings of well-being.

Exercise and activity gives us more energy, increasing the blood flow and re-oxygenating the muscles, leaving you feeling energised!

Not only that, it will improve your sleep. So if you lay awake at night worrying, get active during the day.

One of our members who joined us last camp was saying yesterday that it isn’t just the weight loss that has made her feel so good, it’s the mental health side of things too.
Just getting your body moving & having a few laughs really is the best medicine!

You deserve to have good health.
You deserve to be the best you can be.
You only have one life!

Even though running was uncomfortable for the participants of the show at first, they kept on and as it became easier they discovered that although running could be tough and painful, being stressed, lethargic, feeling low or anxious, having no confidence, are a lot more painful.

I can’t wait for the final episode on catch up later to see how they did.
I’m sure it’s going to be an emotional one!
